Susan Holzman

Director of Faculty Development

With more than 35 years of experience working with students with learning differences, Susan Holzman brings a wealth of knowledge to JST Coaching and Training.   Susan started her career as a reading specialist with a particular interest in dyslexia. After earning her doctorate in Human Development and Psychology, Susan built a thriving practice testing children and teens for learning disabilities and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders. She also tutored these students and partnered with their families to build a support system at home and at school. It was during this time that Susan and Jodi first met. For the last 18 years, Susan has worked at an independent school in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. Susan is the Director of the Learning Center at Flint Hill School. In 2013, Jodi trained Susan and her staff of Learning Center Specialists in coaching. With that training, they instituted a coaching model to work with all the teenagers with learning differences at their school. Following the astonishing success of that program, Susan and Jodi have teamed to provide coaching training to all the Flint Hill Middle and Upper School faculty. Susan is delighted to be working with Jodi and her team again.
