This morning’s Health and Science section of the Washington Post is entitled,”How Do I Raise A Fit Child?” The cover graphic focuses on childhood obesity and food choices, but as I read below the fold and throughout the section, I found great nuggets of information on making good life choices beyond just food and choices that are family centered, not just kid-centered. It is imperative that adults guide children and young adults toward healthy life choices in ALL life areas. We can set good examples and help change the habits of young people. In coaching, we focus on doing just that, but who knows what happens when our young clients go back home? I urge every reader to take ONE step to change your habits and in turn, those of the children in your life. Here’s to a healthy, well-balanced spring!
