Picking oneself up and moving forward

” You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call ‘failure’ is not the falling down, but the staying down”.   Mary Pickford I read this quote the other day and wondered what it really takes for some young people to get up again and again after a disappointment or “failure”. In fact, what does it take for any of us to brush off defeat and keep going?  Certainly having a positive mental attitude is helpful.  Along with that PMA, we want, and need, support of others.  That’s where coaching comes in.  The supportive partner through thick and thin who is there when you fall down and get up again, encouraging you to move forward. Do you have a coach? A partner for the ups and downs of daily life?  If you or a loved one has ADHD and co-existing conditions, a coach can be a powerful tool  to help you move forward.
