Newly Diagnosed with ADHD- Resources Recommendation

Hi, this is Jodi Sleeper Triplett, President of JST Coaching LLC. We serve the needs of youth with ADHD through coach training programs designed specifically for that population.

Today, I want to share a few resources that you might find helpful if you are not already aware of them. Many people who are newly diagnosed or have children who are newly diagnosed with ADHD, Executive dysfunctions or learning disabilities there are lots of resources out there but it can become very confusing.

There are two I want to share with you right now, one is CHADD you will find them at CHADD.org on that website you will learn a lot about what is available for families dealing with these issues. You also can connect to Help4ADHD.org which is the national resource center on ADHD. A membership with CHADD is fairly inexpensive and you get a copy of Attention Magazine, are able to connect with local support groups and sign up for conferences that are held locally, regionally and internationally.

The other resource for you is ADDITUDE Magazine, this magazine is available in print as well as at ADDITUDEmag.com and you can get a lot of information there.

Hope you find these helpful.
