Christina and I met virtually when she signed up for the Coaching Teens & College Students with ADHD training in 2009. She received a scholarship from Vermont Women in Higher Education (VWHE) to take the training and I was thrilled that she chose JST for her first coach training experience!
I quickly learned that Christina has boundless curiosity and energy, with a strong desire to learn as much as possible about the subject matter at hand. Her knowledge and experience in higher education as the Director for the Center of Advising and Achievement at Green Mountain College (GMC) and her love of learning make Christina a perfect match for the JST faculty.
Christina and I have collaborated on presentations at the AHEAD Conferences for the past few years and co-authored a chapter on coaching and self-determination for the newly-released book, Becoming Self-Determined: Creating Thoughtful Learners in a Standards-Driven, Admissions-Frenzied Culture, Field & Parker (editors). I continue to be impressed by Christina’s passion for coaching and for her students. She is a joy to work with and a fantastic coach trainer!
Christina will be joining me in training the upcoming Improve Your Connection to College Students with Coaching Skills October training for Higher Education Professionals.
