In this week’s Health section of the Washington Post , Carolyn Butler wrote an article, “Meditation and mindfulness may give your brain a boost”. After years of coaching individuals with ADHD, I still find that many of my clients are resistant to trying meditation and don’t believe that they can quiet their minds in order to for it to be effective. Ms. Butler shares some tips which I hope will get you started on a practice that is great for mind and body: 1. Seek the right style 2. Practice, Practice, Practice 3. Be mindful all day long 4. Done be discouraged by a wandering mind I am going off to meditate now!
