ICF Metro DC Chapter Meeting Presentation

Coaching Youth and Adults with AD/HD – An Empowering Process

Do you have clients that are looking for AD/HD coaching for themselves or family members? Are you familiar with the intricacies of this specialized coaching niche? Join us for dinner and a special presentation by Jodi Sleeper-Triplett and learn how to gain an understanding of how AD/HD coaching skills and techniques can be blended with life coaching and executive coaching models to increase the effectiveness of coaching for clients with AD/HD.

You will learn the value of coaching for youth with AD/HD and how the coaching process empowers young people by providing an opportunity to explore life choices, gain independence, improve skills and build self-confidence necessary for a productive and satisfying adult life. This is a unique opportunity to learn from an expert in the AD/HD coaching field and to discover how to empower clients using ADHD coaching skills. A brief coaching demo will be included if time allows and there will be an ample Q & A session.

Takeaways:

1. Learn how to support your clients with ADHD while still coaching within the ICF framework and competencies

2. Learn the differences between youth coaching and adult coaching

3. Better understand different learning modalities and how to capitalize on clients’ predominant modality for greater success in coaching and beyond.
