I specialize in working with frustrated clients whose partner has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD who want to finally understand how ADHD shows up in their relationship and use effective strategies to take back control of their lives.
I also work directly with Grad students diagnosed with ADHD who are struggling with the increasing challenges of organization, schoolwork and social lives; young adults who are taking their first steps towards independence and/or heading off to college; and adults of all ages who finally want to understand their ADHD/ADD and live the life they want!
I formed New Focus Coaching, LLC in 2005, and am deeply committed to improving the lives of those who struggle with AD/HD and related issues. My focus is to help my clients (high school through adults) live a more productive, balanced and fulfilling life. Together we work to identify their strengths and talents and develop the skills and strategies necessary to compensate for their unique challenges. It is so rewarding to be part of the coaching process and observe someone’s eyes light up as they connect the dots and learn how to move themselves forward and reach their goals.
I received coaching certification and general coach training through CTI (Coaches Training Institute) and my AD/HD specialized training through JST Coaching and ADD Resources. I have been honored to give presentations at the annual CHADD and Learning and the Brain conferences and to teacher staff trainings to help instructors more seamlessly support AD/HD and executive function deficits in the classroom.
