Last night, I returned home from the ACO 2011 conference, “Coaches Called to Courage” in Chicago. The group is growing (yeah!) and we are outgrowing the venue! This is great news for ACO and the ADHD coaching community, but not so good for those of us who are introverts. Yeah, I know, many of you don’t think I am an introvert. Trust me! After 3 days in a hotel with 100 of my friends and colleagues – connecting, learning, laughing and eating – my introverted self is crying out for a quiet, possibly padded room where I can restart my brain and gain much needed energy. For those of you who are extroverts, it can be difficult to explain the need to recharge. Fellow introverts – I know you get it. Tell me, what do you do to recharge and reengage with the human race?
