ADHD and Managing Stress Tips

It’s Holiday time – holidays and ADHD, shopping and ADHD and just making it through with extra family time together can be really stressful.

The tip today is to just breathe. This probably sounds simple enough but we all forget to do it when it is most needed. Relaxing might not sound like something you think you can do, but take a few minutes every day to get outside, even if it is freezing out.

Go out, breathe in the fresh air and just rejuvenate yourself. Five or ten minutes will make a big difference! If your kids are antsy, get them outside too. Just a short period of time will help to energize, refocus and get the brain going.
